  • Our philosophy reflects our core values and beliefs. At Endeavour Early Education, we believe in providing an environment that is inclusive and that actively promotes education and care.  By creating a feeling of acceptance and a sense of belonging, we create an environment in which our children feel safe, secure and free to imagine, explore and discover their world.

  • We believe in providing a stimulating and positive curriculum, enriched with the guidance of the National Early Years Learning Framework, to develop an environment which encourages children to imagine, explore & discover and sets the foundations of children belonging, being and becoming, within our centre.

  • We believe that diversity is acceptance, inclusiveness and respect for others regardless of race, religion or cultural background. Our every day practices strongly reflect this belief.

  • We also believe that each child's learning is a journey, therefore we promote each child and their families as individuals.

    • Ensure the provision of a safe, secure and hygienic environment for children, families, early childhood educators and visitors.
    • Exceed the guidelines set down by governing and professional bodies.
    • Implement programs that will encourage discovery, questioning, independent thinking and creativity. Our learning centre approach will allow for child directed learning following on their interests, and through these interests we will encourage growth in all areas of development.
    • Use both indoor and outdoor environments to encourage children to explore, investigate, imagine, make choices and problem solve.
    • Provide an environment that encourages high self-esteem, social development, problem solving skills and negotiation strategies
    • Ensure children feel safe, respected, valued, encouraged and reassured. We will provide opportunities for children to learn about themselves, others and the environment. Through this they will develop living skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.
    • Ensure there are opportunities for children to make decisions regarding themselves to encourage independence and personal growth.
    • Encourage children to reach their full potential in accordance with their individual abilities
    • Implement an inclusive approach to positively support children’s growth of identity, self- esteem and critical thinking.
    • Ensure access to all available support services are used to support all children based on their individual needs.
    • Encourage families to be involved in the centre’s program and festivities and to share their cultural heritage or celebrations with us at every opportunity or in whatever way they feel comfortable.
    • Encourage parent input in evaluating policies and programs.
    • Be committed to open and constructive communication with families which includes discussions, child portfolio’s, day books and newsletters.

    • Support each other, work as a team, respect each other as individuals and establish open communication encouraging honesty, tact and sensitivity to the feelings of others. Early childhood educators will address all issues in a professional manner.
    • Regularly evaluate the service to ensure the needs of the wider local community are being met and that parents are consulted about future plans for the service.
    • Provide a stimulating and responsive environment where play is valued and positive reinforcement and encouragement make learning possible. Children will learn and grow through play and an active learning environment.

    • Create an environment where personal and professional contributions are valued, communication is open and confidentiality is maintained.
